+ Its free
+ Avira runs without taking all of your RAM
- Does not scan everything, some areas of the computer are left open to attack.
- Does not detect some older viruses (detects95%)
- If you already have a virus in your system or you ignored a warning and got a virus Avira may not be able to clean your system. This proves true of many anti virus programs but more so for Avira. "
