Setting your DNS to some random company's IPs is a GREAT way to get man-in-the-middle-ed or heavily tracked for interest data, the very thing that adverts suggest as a reason to switch to them. By the way, if you are thinking of registering a domain with this company: probably don't - if your domain for any reason gets suspended, it will redirect to a full-page advert for their DNS service forever.

This spam-advertised domain offers a replacement DNS service. The landing page for the site reads "Your internet connection is too slow + Your browsing activities are used for ads ... Change your DNS to freenomworld". First of all, changing your DNS is unlikely to have any significant effect on your connection speed at all (unless your current nameservers are extraordinarily slow), so their pitch is already deceptive. Second, if they claim that they can shield you from ads or ad-tracking, then that means that their DNS server must be selectively modifying the results of your DNS lookups to block or replace certain domains. This is, in fact, the big risk. If you let a service such as freenomworld handle your DNS for you, then every time you try to visit a website on the Internet (or send mail, or whatever), then you will be sent to the website that _they_ choose for you. That might be the one you asked for. It might not. For example, instead of sending you to your bank's website, they could send you to one that looked just like it. Instead of serving you the software download you asked for, they could send you to a site that contains malware. The potential for harm is huge. So before changing your DNS, you need to ask yourself: do I trust this service or not? Given that all we know about them is that they're advertised by spam, and their homepage contains misleading information, I'd very strongly recommend that you don't trust them.
