Is fubar.com Safe?

Fubar is scam site full of fakes scammers and cyber bullies and break the data protection law if your from UK expect scrapper to be racist towards you for a free site its expensive to by bling unless you paid by fubar fubar support is a disgrace not help what so every and they still owe me money now have a lawyer to help with this matter site needs closing down and investigating badly

Original Post some time in 2011: This site is totally useless to me. It has blown up my In Box with SPAM! It says I signed up, but I most definitely did NOT!!!!! I've blocked this domain as everyone else should! *** EDIT: Well, it's ***** and fubar is still at it! I just found the exact same garbage from them in another of my in-boxes. Like I said before, BLOCK this thing! What astounds me is that WOT still Green Dots this thing. I guess this is how they make their money. :|

I've been a member of fubar for three years now. It used to be called "cherrytap" years ago, but that's before my experience on it. It's like a game, with people. It feels like you just stepped into a bar/club. People rate whether or not they like you, or your pictures, you can give each other drinks, go to public chat rooms, send messages to each other, either privately or on their 'wall'. There's alwaysa bout 38,000 ppl online. SOme ppl pay for credits on the service - but I'm cheap, so I do whatever I can for free, which is almost everything.

This is a Great site very easy to make lots of friends, you can enjoy chatting to people in lounges while listening to a verity of music depending on the lounge you join. Game like setting for leveling up very easy to earn point to level up. This site can slow down your com a bit site staff will tell you to clean out you cach files but its really just needs more servers. The sponcering of this site is very expenceive usually like $100 for a vip for a year it is optional the site is free just the paid for options are rediculas. the privice from the site is lagit but the members on the site is another story this site has stalkers on it but when you obtain one the site will not do anything about the stalker but to tell you to block them, this is an unaceptable way of dealing with them as they tend to make several accounts to attack their victom. This site is 100% NOT FOR CHILDREN there is pics of half naked women in their under clothing or other sexy type of pictures that is not suitable for children's eyes. The site dose have a nsfw ( Not Safe For Work ) report system and the picture can be marked that way if loading up something that was marked it before users also can mark the folder nsfw but a child should not be premited to going to this site it is an adult website members must be 18+ but it is very easy for children to lie about their age and get on this site.

Browser exploit : When I created an account, they asked for me to allow them to access my e-mail accounts, but it wasn't required ... as opposed to the comment by photo_journ who said it was automatic. Could be they changed or photo_journ did not read the request carefully.
