Is gogoanime.com Safe?

I have an Avast program installed. I was trying to watch Ponyo but then Avast alerted me that a threat was blocked. Then I switched servers to see if it was Gogoanime's problem and it turned out it was. I got another alert that a threat was blocked. It didn't come from a pop-up ad but from just accessing the website. Use this website at your own risk.

Caution: the download links for the anime on this site redirect you to animedownloadsonline.com, which is a phishing site. What's even more sketchy is the fact that they use ***** to cover it up so average users can't tell what site they will be directed to until it's too late.

Website to watch anime streaming. As with all anime streaming websites, you should mind the content since it might be inappropriate for children. Also some of the ads on the sides are so flashy that you might get epilepsy (on the serious side, just watch them with an ad blocker). #anime #animestream

-Very good site for anime. It generally gives fast updates and has a large anime database. -Though you should research the type of show you want to watch before viewing it since it does not give the age ratings. -For added safety, I highly recommend some sort of adblock program. Who knows what some of these ads from third party sites lead to. Just know if u do, you might have to refresh the page a few times to get the players to work fully since some people are trying to prevent adblock (better than waiting for the video ads).

Il just say this its a great site to stream anime , HOWEVER there right its got quite alot of ads, pop-ups so MAKE SURE to get ad blocker and ad blocker+ for your browser and remember to keep it updated every so often and you want have to worry about it

Always updating on their episodes and series very quickly and usually has the subed episodes quickly when new episodes are added. Great service too as they do offer different streams usually. Nice clean well organized interface to find any and all the anime episodes and movies you need.

I'm constantly getting these. Though it may be just from the video providers, whose using these providers? Them. I'd very much prefer them use ones that don't give so much pop-ups. Also, the fact that they have ads everywhere lags the video heavily, and it kind of pisses me off. Otherwise, it's a good site, and a good replacement for CrunchyRoll, for they update only slightly slower than them.
