google.at is an official domain owned by Google. Of course, they're the best out there. Safe site and trusted sources for me. Be aware of the ad results. I wish there were better ways to contact the customer support/help/feedback team.

Als Autorin (Theater und Belletrisitik) für Menschen ab Acht gehört 'googeln' zu meinem Schriftstelelr-Alltag... Für Fragen zu geschichte und Archäologie verwende ich haiptsächlioch Wikipedia, wohl wissend, dass manche Autorin (auch) dort unglaublichen Schmus verzapfen. Für mich der beste Suchanbieter auf dem Markt. Leider nicht unbedingt Kindersicher, was aber ohne Zensur schwer zu realisieren ist. Hier sind die Eltern gefordert, darauf zu achten, was ihre Kinder tun.

Seiten können sich "nach oben" kaufen, de facto hat das alles kaum noch was mit einer ordentlichen Suchmaschine zu tun. Warum erscheinen wohl die hilfreichsten Websites erst ab Seite 2,3,4?
