I've used the free Shields Up port testing for many, many years. It is a tribute to the stability and reliability of Mr. Gibson that he has continued to operate this service longer than most web security services have even existed.

It is a really good security site- BUT apparently it hasn't been updated enough. You will regularly find material on there that is 10-15 years old. In tech terms that is an eternity!
