Is greyhound.com Safe?

Site is hard to use, and doesn't make it very clear that a ticket is not a reservation -- it is first-come-first-served, so woe to those who do not stand in line for an hour at the departure door. Drivers are pretty variable too. The service itself is not exactly child-friendly, what with the ear-blasting PA systems on buses and the surly drivers and fellow customers swearing and shouting.

It's not unusual for people to purchase tickets far in advance, and show up early only to find that they still are not guaranteed a seat. Furthermore, schedules change without any notification of change of schedules, forcing those using Greyhound's services to constantly maintain various forms of monitoring and constant contact with said company. To top it all off,the drivers can be somewhat untrustworthy in terms of driver competency/safety.
