Is groups.yahoo.com Safe?

For a BIG company, I think Yahoo is among those that have the WORST customer services. I sent them a LONG private message, with LONG follow-ups, and NICE screenshots (I thought I did a good job)--then almighty Yahoo stopped answering. I always thought Yahoo has always been a BIG SPAM MACHINE; I guess majority of earth's population does have the tolerance for crappy services. But hey, TRY LISTENING TO YOUR CUSTOMERS, you know? You were once the best site. Have you not had enough yet?

Yahoo has destroyed what was an excellent product. The new Neo (which will be an idiotic name when it is no longer new) is dysfunctional and made everything that worked before impossible or at least very difficult now. Approving new members, approving messages, managing Files, accessing previous messages by subject matter, ... just about everything is now hard or impossible.

Excellent service for years, Yahoo Groups since August 2013 have become an ugly, unnavigable, spam-infested, user-unfriendly mess, evidently in a pointless and wrongheaded attempt to imitate Facebook (and failing miserably even at that pathetic goal), to attract mobile users (incompatibility of new Groups software with mobile devices an even more extreme fail), and to maximize ad revenue at the expense of the end user. Basic and necessary functionalities in the pre-August 2013 version of Groups have been removed, those features that remain have been rendered invisible or require tedious, frustrating hunt-and-click-and-click-some more contortions, the experience for Group moderators has been made all but impossible, the popular option of user-personalized graphics has been replaced with bland corporate homogenization, and spam advertising, including often borderline offensive content, now infests every Group message board. Customer service has become less than zero, willfully and openly demonstrating an arrogant, hostile contempt for longtime users of what had long been an outstanding service.

groups are no longer safe when taken over by neo. In spite of numerous requests Yahoo! refuses to let any owner opt out of neo. neo groups are over ran with spam malware & pedophiles because neo denies owners the ability to moderate groups. Yahoo! customer care refuses to accept or reply any correspondence regarding neo.

its good, but you have too be careful. Many groups are browsed by bots and are SPAMMED. However, it is mainly the Moderator and the Owner who are responsible for this. I even made a group, Redwall New, because every other Redwall group I would find was SPAMMED.
