It's safe, although blank pages appear after you click the download button in a mod page, but other than that, it's a great mod database.

Whenever you start downloading a file, you need to watch for a new tab popup, and a popunder that creates another browser window so you don't notice it right away. I've gotten PUP warnings from this site and had to quarantine. The actual files you want to download seem to be clean though.

It is safe site, the thing why people rate it bad because of pop ups: Pop ups example: you won the lottery scam you won a Iphone scam you won a Samsung phone scam tech support call scam but bring a program that is able to block it.

Nothing but ads popping up locking my browser up. Stay away!! A site that allows ads like this on it should not be trusted. Other sites out there are better and care to NOT put these ads on their sites with virus scams and what not

It's bad cause they don't check each download, so people can just upload viruses. A good way to tell if legit is to check comments, and use google translate to translate them because for some reason this site atracts germans
