Had a call from "Microsoft" who had detected problems on my computer. They guided me through running msconfig then event viewer and explained that the warnings and errors were because of viruses. Asked me for my name, address, date of birth, type of computer. Gave me their address in Crawley and after over half-an-our directed me to the website. WOT went into overdrive and I told them that it was an untrusted site and I could not proceed. Please do not give your personal info to anyone who phones you out of the blue - and try using a Mac like me!

They may ring your phone and say they are calling from microsoft they will ask for card details and tell you to download a file off their site, they say this because you have a virus! dont trust!!!
