Is home.plimus.com Safe?

Plimus now BlueSnap is a payment processor that assist Merchants by providing them with a payment platform to sell digital goods. If there is a problem with the product, the customer is directed to the merchant from which they purchased the product. If the merchant is unhelpful, Plimus will assist the customer.

Plimus is just a website that sells and processes the payments for software vendors. They don't make the software. It's just a market place much like Apple and Android where businesses can sell their software through a safe and secure system. If there is non-legitimate software on their site then this is not the fault of Plimus, much like if there is non-legitimate software in the Android market then this isn't Google's fault. If you find non-legitimate software on their site then don't moan about it here as that's not going to do anything. Moan about it to Plimus and I'm sure they will remove that software!

I'm very please with Plimus, i use it as affiliate to sell legitimate software. I never had any complaints from any of my customers. It's ridiculous to claim Plimus is rogue, it's only a platform to sell software from third parties. Plimus cannot be held responsible for malicious software a third party develops.

i have had nothing but problems with my computer with spyware ever since i got into this MESS. i dont see how you greeners think that this site is anything but trouble. ive not been able to get anywhere with this site. all it is is 1 big scam to get your money, and from what ive heard good luck getting it back. now after reading some of these comments, im scared to death for identity theft. should be something can do if there are so many complaints....

DO NOT USE THIS SITE! As other users have said it supports 'rogue' applications which DO lead to virus's. Also another thing to point out is the fake 'verified by visa' 'paypal verified' and 'BBB accredited business' signs down the bottom. As soon as you see a site with fake verification like this you should leave immediately. Obviously a scam.

I bought a software Anonymixer via Anonymizer but their receipt came from Plimus, since 2 days ago I have not received anything and nobody has contacted me from Anonymixer and Plimus as well. I will report this to the relevant authorities and my Lawyer.

Be careful when you purchase from this supplier. The way they do business is like cheating. They offer a very low price to attract trials with some tricky terms in order to obtain payment credentials (credit card...) then they charge high price later on based on the tricky term that you may not notice. Be very careful and read every words carefully before you decide to purchase their software.

This is one of the largest eCommerce sites on the Internet. They are reliable and trustworthy. If you purchase software you do not like - do not blame them.. they ware only processing funds for the the software developers. Your complaints should be with the developers - not with the payment processor.
