Is iskysoft.com Safe?

I searched for "how to crop a video in movie maker" (Windows Movie Maker) and they said that what i need to do is to download different editing software called Filmora. I CAME HERE NOT FOR AN ADVERT Edited: Other user ratings suggest, that the WOT reviews have been done by bots, so if only the ratings with comments were counted, than the score would be about 35 or so. Also added the "Ads / pop-ups" category and disagreed with "Good site", and lowered my rating a bit (from yellow to yellow), and set the child rating to 0, even though the person typing this is actually 11 yo. Deal with it.

There are a number of complaints floating around about iSkysoft video converter, and from my experience they ring true. The product doesn't always fulfill what it claims to, and several folks I know have purchased it and received the wrong product, and then charged more to "fix" the problem. The classic bait and swtitch. Also, this company has a pretty bad reputation doing aggressive, false, and misleading advertising, such as using the names of competitors, eg VLC, Handbrake, and Mplayer to hook users in and then redirect them to their product instead. There are much better free alternatives that do not utilize such practices, such as MEncoder, Handbrake, MPEG Streaclip, ffmpeg, Any video converter, etc. Avoid this.
