Is kayakbaja.com Safe?

Phishtank (hxxps://www.phishtank.com/phish_detail.php?phish_id=1575752) says "This suspected phishing site is unavailable, probably because its host removed it." The problem apparently was a page placed on the server at hxxp://www.kayakbaja.com/6vnncm/index.html, but that isn't a problem any more. Time to fix the WoT reputation.

It's unfortunate that this website was victimized on a "phishing expedition." The problem was resolved immediately and the company had an incredibly rapid response. Sea & Adventures has had a tremendously positive history for the past 20 years. Reviews on TripAdvisor are highly complimentary and the company is one of the highest-ranked activities in La Paz.

As an employee for Sea & Adventures with the website kayakbaja.com, I'd like to concur with Mary and say that we are a very good site and with a very good reputation. We've been in business since 1993 offering clients adventure travel in Baja. Read our reviews on trip advisor to see how satisfied our clients have been with us. We had the misfortune to be part of a one time phishing incident which we had no control over. As soon as we realized what happened our IT person corrected the problem. It's unfortunate we were taken advantaged of in this way and we want folks to know we had nothing to do with it and we have a good site.

Hello, I am the owner of this website for Sea & Adventures, Inc. As noted below we are a 20 year old family run, reliable business with an excellent reputation. On September 28, 2012 someone hacked into our site and used it for a "phishing expedition". I received some very nasty phone calls and emails from people who were victims of this hacking for which I am truly sorry. I also received a very kind call from someone who explained to me what they believed had happened to our site. I called our technician immediately and he solved the problem within minutes. We have since secured our site more effectively to avoid such scams in the future. We would appreciate being given the benefit of the doubt in this situation and showing a GOOD SITE reputation,which we most certainly are, on WOT. Thanks.

spamfighter666 is wrong. It's not a WordPress site and never has been. The site was apparently compromised as reported by Dareks67 on 9/2812, but the problem was corrected within minutes. Other than that one incident, it has been a reliable and trustworthy website since 1998. It is a family-owned business with an excellent rating on TripAdvisor and other reliable rating sites.
