Is lookout.com Safe?

Note that MyLookout.com, the site delivering 'virusprotection' to Android devices, etc. has acquired lookout.com. They advertise it themselves. So old comments about this URL are now inappropriate, and should be removed. I am not discussing the merit of their entire service operation, nor the fact than in the end, you are asked for some $3.00/month for something Goggle provides for free, but som 10,000,000 (ten million) people have signed up (or at least downloaded the application). I doubt Google would have stayed mute if this was a harmful site.

This is a wonderful site, it may be advertised like others have stated below but it is NOT spam. This website lets you back up contacts, photo's and calls at the touch of a button. It also includes an anti-virus and a phone location GPS. It's a fantastic service. Both the free and paid are well worth it.
