This subdomain of ***** appears to exist only for the purpose of tracking responses to the paid Google ad for Symantec. If you enter the url into the address bar you get a page that says : "The file you requested could not be found. The URL your are searching for may be out of date. Please check the URL again." - followed by a paragraph all about Merchantize, "an online advertising tool developed by iCrossing". The ***** url is itself a dummy, and just gives the message "This is the default page for IC Live" on a white background, with directions to go to iCrossing for more information. iCrossing? "We’re a global digital marketing agency". See ***** To everyone who has commented on this paid ad, it appears to be a genuine advertisement for Symantec. The URL behind the clickable text is a tracking url (see ***** or ***** for how they work). The relevant part of the url is the section at the end, which translates to (in this example, a search for PGP) : &adurl=http://m1168.ic-live.com /938 /?126992950 &OVMTC=Broad &site= &creative=8560227056 &OVKEY=symantec PGP &adpos=1o1
