Great action MMO based on Irish mythology. Has elements of a fighting game, and colorful graphics. It includes social features for older users and optional purchases. If you like this one, give Vindictus a try.

A fun, free MMORPG with optional premium content that you can buy with real money. Can chat with other people, so I wouldn't suggest it for anyone under 13. I've never had any problems with the cash shop or buying NX (the in-game cash for buying premium items). There are no viruses either, so the site is safe.

Though they neglect most complaints from the people, its purpose is mainly to entertain and for me has done so exactly. No viruses spotted which is good. They are simply too busy sometimes to tend to fixes.

I'm going to sound like either a completely nutty fanboy or a staffmember of Nexon advertising the game, but I can assure you I'm atleast not the latter.
I've been searching for a good MMORPG that wasn't necessarily free for a long time. WoW was too combat-driven, most free MMOs were grindfests, and etc.
Then I found Mabinogi. It's a massively multiplayer online Role-Playing Game(MMORPG) that encourages the player to explore in an anime inspired fantasy world. From taking up part-time jobs to easily creating clothes or armor, or even raising a pet, it's easy to lose hours of real time by doing anything except fighting monsters in the dungeons!
The character creation is fantastic-- my nitpick with most online games is that the hairstyles to choose from are limiting, but here, there's a good few dozen to choose from.
I'll stop rambling. I'm just thoroughly impressed and will be playing this free MMO for a -long- time. Woo!

The staff is almost fully unwilling to handle/solve any issues. Either they give a "not my problem" or "we've already had this topic before" and pass you away.
Their website is coded very poorly, and due to bad coding their "cash shop" has hiccuped causing a double purchase of a pet, upon being asked for a refund they simply point "no refunds, not our problem" and move on.
