It's advertising, yes, and it is always good to read the fine print. This however is not malicious. They definitely do not send malware. The usual cookies are used by any site that sells products or services. I am confident you can opt out of receiving their emails if you don't like receiving them. Of course, using affiliates, this can lead some affiliates to go 'over the top' with their promotional efforts, and that can involve spam although this is prohibited by Market Health. "
