Is medium.com Safe?

It’ s fun, sitting there, reading some actual themes for me. I got a hobby or you can call it side hassle- trading with financial markets. Such an occupation needs to keep a pulse on the market, what’s going on, who’s in charge, stuff like this. Medium is a good helper, not the only one, still giving its valuable impact. More than anything, I like their attitude toward customization. Authors can write in a way that they like( follow the border, certainly). That’s why texts don't seem like “water”, with many words, no meaning. It's a common feature of some famous financial magazines.

Medium is still a great resource. It has a lot of useful instructions, blogs, reflections, information on different topics. The writing style of medium will remain one of good quality patterns of writing in the history of internet. However, the system that forces you to switch to a paid subscription after you read 5 posts is not conducive to its development. More users and subscribers will be leaving to the space with high quality content where they are free to decide if they want to donate or not.

With all honesty, good and informative website. But it is so greedy now. It's in the interests of social media rather than my interests to have their website attended and read. I am not gonna pay for reading the information that I am finding for free somewhere else.

if you wanna get stuck for the whole day, then Medium is your bro. NGL, this resource is full of valuable and interesting materials, stories, reviews and other stuff. you just define the sphere of your interest ,like financial and start searching for various materials that are definitely valuable. for instance, it's cool when someone shares his experience of working in the financial sphere, being an entrepreneur and all that. you literally start understanding who this person is and why his experience is essential.

Advertisium is the new name of this website apparently, because it has been a bigger advertiserment platform nowadays. You remember when we used to read articles from medium and they were interesting, origian and most important - sincere about the company. Now what we got is fabricated articles that are just advetisement for the companies, and this is why I am giving them low rating. The only reason why I didndt put 1 is because there are still some genuine articles out there. Anything that is an advertisement just decreases the prestige of this website, and theyre loosing trust.

In my opinion this platform isn't as good as it's described in the net. Of course articles are entertaining but if I need to keep myself in the loop of current trends, news and events then it's not about medium. Also there are not so many articles which can be read without signing up which is a pity. I sometimes want to get information quickly but need to sign up which is a long process.

Turned into a platform, good job, and everybody can go ahead and write articles, this is wonderful, expect its not. What happened is that now the companies are out there only writing marketing articles to get some clients, and one wholesome place is now a billboard or a 80s magazine filled with ads.

That modern trend to spam basic articles and focus on SEO should not go for free, so score is 2/5.

By the way, of course sometimes I was reading various interesting articles and thanks to this I expanded my knowledge about the world and many different things. Nevertheless, the big disadvantage which I would name is that it is an expensive subscription and it would be great if they reduce it a little bit.
