Is mic.com Safe?

While a decent tech site, they try to delve into politics. This is where they fail, and incredibly so. Misrepresenting organizations, calling things by their wrong name (such as muslim ban instead of immigration ban, etc). They try to push an agenda by doing this, and they don't even hide it. If they cleared out the political stuff, or moved it to one of the sister sites, this would be a useable site. Not currently. One of the major red flags before you even see any of the articles is that their comments are completely gone. This is a trend among most of these sites that have decided it's a good idea to push a political agenda in the tech industry, or otherwise. Silence dissent and you can have your site be an echo chamber.

"News" site full of misinformation. Labeled a anime message board's politics open forum as "an Internet message board for the alt-right, a digital movement of neo-Nazis, anti-Semites and white supremacists". Mud slinging is NOT news. Website contains 14 trackers as I write this, somewhat above average for similar sites. This site contains no malware however information from this site has an extreme progressive bias.

Their 'news' is mostly left-wing, pro-terrorist infomercials. Frequently key facts are left out or seriously misrepresented against Republicans and Independents interested in full facts. The headlines are frequently misleading left-wing, anti-police, anti-Christian and anti-Semitic conclusionary judgments masquerading as news. If you like left-wing, communist, anti west infomercials then by all means look at this site, otherwise go somewhere else.

This is a populist news site, it is nether left or right leaning. Instead it publishes information that the majority of United States Citizens agree is important. For someone from the right to say they are Marxist or left leaning is: 1 out of touch with the will and desires of the American people. 2 is to far right to realize corporations are in control of their lives, mostly because of the "I will win the lottery and be rich too" mentality. Is is a person driven by greed, which give the corporation the ability to control their lives. Mic’s approach to news is as unique as our generation.
