Is michaelhvac.net Safe?

We installed a new Trane, HVAC after meeting Carolyn Heckert ,(alleged HVAC Engineer) They took our working compressor home overnight alleging it was clogged , of course when they returned it was definitely clogged and unrepairable.J.T. Michaels, company founder did this personally, After 50 years in the business J.T. found a compressor he could determine the problem with. J.T. Michael did know that we needed a new 11,000.00 HVAC though. He was sure about that. Carolyn Heckert moved in to finish us off , saying we are not the cheapest , but we are the best. They were recommended through word of mouth, as being the best in the business. So we allowed the installation, and then Ms. Heckert, decided we needed to zone the home for another 2,000.00 bucks. We said no way. We talked to 10 other HVAC specialist and not 1 said that a home with 1862 square feet heated space would need zoning. So in retaliation, they decided to run the thermostat 10 feet from our backdoor, causing the air to cut on and off every time door is opened. Manuel D, which is the Bible of HVAC, clearly states that you never place the thermostat at a door opening. We have a 5 degree temperature differential on both ends of the home,meaning one end is 5-7 degrees colder or hotter depending on the season. I began to study HVAC, I found they had used a 6inch forced air duct in the master bedroom closet, which is 7ft, by 7ft. They decided to cool the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms with the same amount of air as the closet, 1, 6 inch forced air vent . Yet they used 2 air return vents in each of the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms pulling 20 plus inches of air from the room. In other words, they are pulling 3 times the air from the room, that they are forcing into the room, thus the heating and cooling differential. The Manuel D, is available on the web, and available to anyone for about 80 bucks. Before you use HVAC person, this would be a wise investment. I would also mention that we had a unit break down, in the middle of July, Michael's was slow to respond even though we paid a yearly ***** contract fee for service and warranty maintenance. The conversation became heated as the temp was 98 plus degrees, and after finally showing up 48 hours later,they told us to find someone else to service our 11,000.00 unit. They took their money and ran. the old saying buyer beware applies to this company. they may have held some reputation at some point in the past, but that reputation is now destroyed in my opinion. I could not recommend them for dogcatcher. They do not use licensed HVAC service techs, alleging they steal their business, so your service tech will be an untrained ,unlicensed knucklehead ,in most cases. They regularly cheat Trane Corporation, by claiming leaks in multitudes, they stay at your home for 6 hours, show you a bill for ***** bucks , and say be glad you have your warranty and maintenance contract. they then bill Trane for the service tech who talked and text his girlfriend all day or either curled up and went to sleep under your home, which i have photo's of,BUYER BEWARE
