Mt.Gox is the world's most established BitCoin exchange. You can quickly and securely trade BitCoins with other people around the world with your local currency. Completely safe site and very useful.

Scratch all of that I said about Mt. Gox. They have been one of the worst exchanges so far. People have been having problems getting even BITCOINS out of the exchange. They have constantly been making some excuse or another.
I would stay away from this exchange. It is no longer even one I would have people look at anymore. Use Coinbase, BTC-E, Bitstamp or many of the other fine exchanges. Just avoid Mt. Gox like the plague.

3 Month since I made the withdrawal request.
No news about it.
They keep telling me they are resolving the banking issue.
Looks like a SCAM to me.

Can take months to withdraw cash. TRADING PRICE IS ARTIFICIALLY HIGH BECAUSE OF THIS.

I have huge trouble to submit the complete information of my ID, such as full name, birthday, birth place and current address, it doesn't matter to wich site. Be aware that this site, even if very trustworthy and unlikely to happen, can be cracked as any other strongly protected site. A possible consequence of this might be an identity theft.
