Is my.backpage.com Safe?

Okay so I am aware of the current situation pertaining to illegal adult services Backpage apparently has a Monopoly on, and I am female and the last person on earth to condone anything relating to the issue. HOWEVER, I advertise on this site for Real Estate. I pay to have ads posted. The traffic is great and I make the majority of my income using this site to advertise in the property management section. I have not had my identity stolen. My credit card number has shown no signs of vulnerability thus far, and I support wholeheartedly Classified Ads in every topic excluding adult entertainment. People choose to make it what it has been labeled. People have the choice to participate. Craigslist has many many illegal adult entertainment ads in the personal section. "Come Meet Me - 100 Roses". If the media really wanted to stop the action- They would not broadcast it, they would infiltrate until all illegal actions ceased. So... what does society really want? The News Station also makes a significant amount on Backpage, in which they wouldn't had there been no questionable things happening. I am pretty sure those News Casters get in up in the morning for one reason - the paycheck. What funded their income? Backpage did. Just the next breaking news story.
