There are a ton of similar travel sites and Orbitz is one of the few good ones. It also has a privacy policy which isn't nearly as awful as most in it's class.
It does have a TRUSTe seal- and many of the terms are a whole lot less egregious than similar sites- but you really want to read it and see the gaping holes in it.
They admit passing on your info to Big Brother. After reading every other major travel site's policies none directly admitted to that- but I suspect that they just didn't have the courage to put it in writing.
Still, users should read it, not use the site through a phone and avoid all social media connections.

I have booked many trips on Orbitz.com. Especially out West to California and Arizona. Not only do they find you good rates, they offer hotels and airflights together. They keep a log of all your vacations, so you could look back on all your old itineries. I love it!

Orbitz does not offer the lowest prices for their hotel/motel rooms. Don't cancel your reservation well before you have it booked , because orbitz carges you $25 to do that. All the hotels will let you cancel for free if before 24 hrs.........Orbitz's are not cheaper than just calling yourself.........dont waste your money with this outfit
