Community Assistance Center (CAC) works to meet basic human needs such as food, shelter, and clothing with the goals of helping individuals and families stay in their home, helping to reduce poverty and building stronger independent families and thus a more stable community. The Center does this by providing short term assistance to families or individuals facing an unexpected financial crisis, Assistance includes financial assistance (i.e. rent, utilities) and/or in-kind assistance (i.e. food, clothing, school and household supplies). They work with clients to address their immediate crisis, identify other available services or providers and guide them to CAC educational programs which offer additional skills that may help them sustain career and personal success for greater economic security.

These people are VERY VERY HELPFUL AND NICE AND GOOD!!!!! We have been in need a few times over the years and they have rescued us very generously. We have received help with not getting our electric bill cut off, they have paid 1/2 our rent when needed and they are overgenerous with food and household goods you may need. The food "second helpings" come from awesome sources like Fresh Market, Trader Jo's and other upscale places. If you live in the qualifying zip codes you WILL get help to make it until better times. Looks like someone rated it bad to try and advertise their site. What that person is doing is unethical! These are GOOD PEOPLE happy to respect you and help you any way they can!
