I wrote 90% of the content on this site. I have experience with computers dating back 15+ years, professional programming for 10. I sold the site to a company in Florida in 2011. Since they took it over, the quality of articles has gone down and I doubt they promote the site so much - a shame because the content I wrote was very good. Trust me when I say that everything I wrote on the site was in good faith. You need to remember that a site like that cannot just operate for free. Everyone has bills to pay, so we had to recommend tools to anyone who might have wanted the extra potential to fix their system.

I used this in 2009 to fix an old laptop. Worked well although their software was kind of scammy

This site recommends haphazardly using Combofix, which WILL turn your computer into a piece of electrified shit (both figuratively and literally). ONLY USE COMBOFIX AS A LAST RESORT!

thanks to this site i got rid of the google redirect virus and fixed numerous issues. Would recommend this site to anyone

Recommends running Combofix willy nilly, which can bork a computer. Plus they're shoveling a crappy reg scanner every chance they get.

This site is a setup & should be red.

It states to use combofix to remove google Redirect Virus; this is bad there are a number of programs which can stop combofix working, the safe way to use combofix is with the advice of a malware expert & the first thing they would ask for is a HJT log. Its also being use to promote iffy registry programs, site should be red.

Although the articles themselves are not necessarily malicious, the adverts, subliminally placed everywhere, for "recommended clean-up tools" are.
