Is playsushi.com Safe?

This site has a LARGE privacy issues, according to Ghostery, there are about 9 ad sites that in some way are recording your activity on the site, I highly associate it with Browser Exploit. Thanks to Ghostery's findings, they are blocked out from executing any malicious activities.

This website is not safe. I saw an ad where you could play Pacman, so I downloaded Pacman from here, and when I scanned my computer with Malwarebytes, the Pacman game was infected with a trojan. Plus, their ads are all over the Internet--they're very misleading because it says "play now" and you think that you can play it on the website. NOPE. You have to download the games to your computer. They're a shady company. Do not download or play any games from here, because you risk computer infection.

My daughter accidentally came upon this site when she was trying to find a game. She knows this site is bad, so she didn't download it. But, the PlaySushi downloader is infected with Adware. We got this result by scanning with Malwarebytes. So, don't get this!

software that they distribute within their web-site is some sort of virus or ad-ware i've recently noticed that it tries to get inside restricted memory sectors. not shure about spyware but it sent some connection request right after installation, which my firewall blocked. also they put their ugly ads in good old games from 19xx. beware of this site no matter what.

While this site does have adware, it is only installed on your computer if you install the addon for their 'premium' content. And all that does is pester you with ads, which is a minor annoyance. And I do believe they tell you about the ads before you install it, so it's not like it's snuck on your system without your knowledge. All of their other browser based games are free to play, without adware. They are supported by banner ads and ads that play right before the game, though. All in all, this is a safe site if you stay away from their 'premium' browser plugin. I rather enjoy this site! ---------- EDIT: I forgot to mention that the ads basically consist of scripts that turn some words on a page into clickable links, or links that bring up a search results box when you hover over it. No popups, popunders, or anything too intrusive.
