Safe. This site is for a company that makes games primarily for a younger audience. As with any service that provides content for children, parental involvement is strongly recommended. Insofar as any allegations of improper activity from Pocket Gems, this website is safe, and there appears to be no evidence of wrongdoing with any of their games. If you don't like their games or the business model for pay-to-play children's games, that's a respectable point of view but does not mean the website is dangerous or that there is any evidence of illegal activity.

I have no idea why this website has gotten such a low rating. Did a little bit of internet digging and it seems to be a genuine company. Let me know if you have some credible source that has caused your suspicion.

Free apps aimed at children should not even offer the option of spending hundreds of dollars on in-app purchases without limit and without providing a password.
