Is political.com Safe?

I believe that the only reason why they have you call in is to verify your poll answer. I called in once in on a poll and the lady on the other end was very nice and only asked what i answered for and what my age was. I was 16 at the time and she told me that She was glad i was interested in politics, haha. I do have some privacy concerns, as to why they would need your phone number to verify who you were. I am pretty sure their is another way to verify user information without calling in.

As everyone else has said, they trick you into proceeding as if they are just polling company. By the end, they tell you to call an 800 number to "make your vote count". Although I did not call the 800 number myself, I am sure that they request personal information as stated by others.

It wants you to call their number so that they can send your phone number to telemarketers. I mean, they already ask for your email - they can use that as a valid ID, or your home address - there's no need for them to ask for your phone number to verify your vote.

Seems to be a scam. I filled up all the questions then it tells me if you want your vote to count you have to register. That's when I realized that it has red wot circle which confirmed my suspension that they just want your contact and the polls are fake.
