Highly unethical, politically motivated site that masquerades as a games and journalism website. Do not trust.

Polygon has some real questionable articles. Some examples include a review of Rock Band, yet it does not review about Rock Band and instead complains about reviewing it and discusses Philippine politics instead. Another is a video by an editor of Doom 2016 which showed incredibly poor gameplay. There is also another video where of a VR game that largely includes fiddling with guns and the like where the reviewer largely talks about his angst against guns rather than talking about the game itself. This site is also owned by the same owners as The Verge, which has similar pathetic integrity no different from tabloids. Basically, hypocritical click-bait journalism. They pretty much try to promote, but then write an agenda article piece against the same thing. This site focuses more on the aesthetics of their site than the content of it.

One of the worst websites in gaming. Biased towards leftist ideals, supports fascism, radical feminism and censorship.

Total joke banned me for using the term click bait on an article they seem to rigidly enforce their own rules and have no interest in the end users or the rights of them either. This site could be also in hot water for discrimination on all sorts of levels from the aspect I was banned as a AS sufferer and thus made to feel like a criminal when a lazy moderator when I wrote to them to complain decided to cut and paste response they did not even bother to show common decency and look into my comments on the context of why I decided to call it what I had. Having now seen some of the other comments on WoT I feel compelled to act and add my own and warn people this site has a bias agenda with air tight rules and lazy moderators who do not look at hard facts and ban anyone they deem not to be "constructive" it is one to avoid.

They are discriminating against men. Pure feminism. If you are a man. stay away.

Poor site for game reviews, political agenda driven and clickbaiting. Advertisements hidden as articles.

Corrupt website that has been engaged in anti-consumer rhetoric as of mid-August 2014 following a coverup of a severe ethical breach involving twelve of its employees. Those familiar with the JournoList scandal of the late 2000's may find this story familiar. It's no coincidence that EIC Ezra Klein of Vox Media, the parent company of Polygon, was the creator of the original JournoList that served as this one's inspiration: ***** It is of extreme importance to note that Polygon has openly declared itself to be a politically far left-leaning website masquerading under the veil of video game journalism, something that is normally meant to put consumer advocacy before ideology. While the term “progressive” invokes positivity, context must be provided as progress can either be good or bad depending on perspective. The fact that it has delved into radical gender theory - such as the concepts of white privilege and patriarchy - to critique games will not be to most consumers’ liking. In fact, it once established a platform for known propagandist Jonathan McIntosh to espouse his ideals unchallenged as most editors on the site have professed to be supporters of radical feminism + anti-capitalism. The site is heavily moderated and opposing views often draw the ire of editors. They have been known to bully critics off-site and via social media if they are prominent enough, especially if their disagreements are politically motivated. All product reviews and commentary by their staff should be viewed under heavy suspicion and scrutinized for potential lack of disclosure. Visit at your own peril.

Its a highly radical left wing political agenda site disguised as a gaming news website, will poison the minds of its users and try to scam them into donating.

Would ban for disagreeing with some of their writers.

interestingly designed video games news and reviews site (especially on mobile). reviews are not particularly opinionated though...

Any non Sony exclusive game review is alright but if you were to look at exclusives they usually give lower scores then the usual and give rather strange excuses. They got money from MS at some point so one could THINK there is something wrong. I'm just saying these reviews usually are lower then the others. It still is a review and thus an opinion but for exampel to review a game which mostly consist of issues with the artstyle is not a good review. At least it's not IGN.
