Got unsolicited email from them claiming to be from a friend - but no friend mentioned. According to google these guys steal your account credentials and spam everyone in your addressbook too

QUEPASA.COM WORSE THAN SPAMMER ***** has repeatedly tried to gain access to an online vendor acct. I use. They do this by sending me an email fraudulently stating it's the online vendor, just checking the validity of a "new" quepasa.com email address. They provide a link to confirm it. Of course, if I followed the fraudulent link, I'd be giving them my online acct login info, thereby allowing them to make purchases charged to my acct. I have not fallen for this, but I wonder how many have.

I keep on getting spam mails everyday despite never having registered on the site. I have tried unsubscribing from the links too. But, they are shameless :-|

Looks like a wannabe Facebook clone, obviously they also look for email account passwords so they can steal the address book and spam everyone in it. Today I got a spam email from that site, claiming someone I don't even know, who I might have talked to once on MSN Messenger, "invited" me to this dump. Needless to say, I don't think he/she did.
