Stay away from this site at all costs. The two things you should know about before you decide to sign up with Rubylane: 1. Most of the sellers are already on eBay, and they sell the same items on both sites, however at prices that often have a 40% increase. 2. The sellers on Rubylane are untrustworthy. The lack of feedback and testimonials from their customers makes it impossible to check if a seller is reputable. After buying a very costly antique, pleased and very impressed with the photo gallery and description of the item in question, as I am a long-time antiques collector and am very careful when purchasing online; when it arrived it was in very poor condition. The photographs had been Photoshopped to hide the damage and conceal other faults. The seller quickly accepted my returned item in exchange for a refund, BUT-! They relisted the item exactly as is, with no revisions to the listing or the photos so they can deceive the next customer! Beware.
