Redirecting, when are these scum going to learn that the even the average web surfer has protection against such trickery. From expensive software to excellent browser add-on's. Such as WOT which has helped me more than I can say.

Out of nowhere i got a message saying my PC is infected with viruses and need immediate scanning, it took me to a page that did what looked like a Windows security center scan... then told me i have to install some software to remove the viruses. it was a .exe file, but the funny thing is... I'm on a Mac. it's a fake, its a scam, it's a virus. where the hell did it come from though?

This has to be the most stupid and oldest trick in the book. If you fall for this you deserve to have your computer be slow and infested with viruses trojans and worms. To all those MS addicted people out there stay away from this site. Better yet, switch to any of the fantastic flavors of Linux. This way you'll be able to laugh with the FOSS community about websites like this since they don't pose any sort of a threat to our systems. ;-)
