Is sheknows.com Safe?

All tho the site is called 'SheKnows' I as a man found it to be interesting with quite a few thoughful and interesting articles and topics I skipped the 'cleb  gossip' stuff but I skip that on all sites anyway. I have no idea why anyone would find this site 'offensive' in the least and I'm sure many women and (men) raising children,getting through life's ups and downs would find aomething that appeals to them and gived them something to consider. There was only one pop-up at the start asking if I wanted to subscribe it to my e-mail. The only pop-up the whole time I was on it (about 20 minutes). Threre is nothing 'suspicious' at all about this site and it boggles the mind that anyone would think or say so.

This site is basically a content mill. You will be given a tid-bit of information just to pull you in to other links and ads. I personally did not get any pop-up ads, but maybe it is because of my browser settings. I also have ad-block plus installed in my browser. This would be a good web site for an average intelligence housewife who wants to get some basic information rather than just watch Oprah reruns all day. A content mill is a web site that is devoted to increasing their site rating and advertising revenue rather than having a true desire to inform the reader. These type of sites overall bring down the informational quality of the internet as a whole.

Bad customer experience. Script heavy and slow website, big parts of the pages don't scroll and get stuck in the field of view. Technically the worst website I've been at in a long time. Large amount of scripts for tracking purposes.

As long as popup and/or script blocking is in place to guard against third-party advertising, this site is safe. In fact, unblocking this site is *necessary* to view slideshows and other content. My caution regarding children is only because the site's content is Hollywood gossip that could lead to unrealistic expectations by impressionable children. Given the extremely daring fashions of modern celebs, possibly NSFW.

SheKnows is a good, informative website. I use it constantly. I wanted to leave this rating because previous comments say this site is blacklisted, but that is simply untrue.
