Is shop.xerox.com Safe?

I purchased the Work Center 6605DN, which is the upgraded version, I also upgraded it to add Wi-Fi connection capabilities so I would not have to deal with wires, I bought it directly from Xerox Direct from there web site over the phone in Oct 2014 and it arrived Sept. 2014 the following month and was delivered by UPS (United Parcel Service) and they left it unattended and on its side, which I specifically told Xerox not to leave the printer if no one was there to receive it, as there had been numerous thefts in the neighborhood from small items up to autos and motor cycles and bicycles. It was left even after I warned them! When it arrived that was when the headaches began and still continue this day! After the numerous false information I received about this printer of the machines capabilities and the services that they would provide for it 24/ 7. Which 24/7 turned into only Monday - Friday 8AM - 8PM Eastern Standard time and I live on the West Coast (Pacific Standard time 2-3 hours difference depending on the time of year), and that was also the main reason why I purchased it for that 7/24 service as I am trying to start a business and need that kind of support for this printer! I also never saw anything, not even a review that stated you had to set up your network to make this printer work. This Printer Is NOT for a NOVICE person, it is a very complicated minicomputer! That was another headache I had and since I had personal private information from various clientele I could not allow any remote access to any of my computers in which I hooked up to this printer. There were other breaches that I came across that could also potential be an issue for privacy, as you have to hook up a program to use the printer to its maximum capabilities as it does more than any other printer on the market at the time that I saw(it's a multifunction printer, that's a fax, emails, copies, scans, does duplex copies, color laser printer, has Wi-Fi upgradeable capabilities and other upgradeable capabilities, where as you can add another paper tray, more memory, has a LCD Screen (like a minicomputer), it also can use various types of paper types which follows: Plain, hole punched, letterhead, colored, lightweight cardstock, lightweight glossy cardstock, heavyweight cardstock, heavyweight glossy cardstock, labels, envelopes. It has been one technical problem after another and the customer service is horrible as I have not had my emails and my phone calls returned at all! Very few phone calls and emails have been returned about 1/4 of all of them were returned, but the issues that I have had were not all fixed or corrected! After having this printer for less than a week the printer started making a grinding noise which I believe this printer is either defective or it was damaged in shipping, as everyone knows you are not supposed to put electronic devices like this one and leave it on its side! For months I have gotten Nowhere with Xerox, until I final was fed up and called to complain to their corporate office! My printer was supposed to let me know when it was going low with toner and I found out that was false the older ones do not have that feature even though I was told when I purchased it this printer would be able to do this False information again for at least the fifth time! I went online to ***** to buy toner and saw an ad there for toner and it stated if I purchased toner with the Xerox econcierge service that I would receive 5% off! Well I tried and could not figure out how to purchase it through Xerox econcierge service, so I called them and they were not available, so I left a message or them to call me back. They returned my call the following day and they had no clue as to the 5% discount that was advertised on ***** and the representative stated that I should have printed out a copy of where it stated that on their web site! What an air head as I had previously told her I was out of black toner! I did find out that they toner cartridges allow only what they state of how many pages will be printed per toner cartridge, however; they are not out of toner, but they still will not allow you to use it up to the end (WHAT A WASTE OF TONER! More for the landfill! These companies need to make them earth friendly by being able to refill them at least a few times!) I left a review about this printer on their website, the first negative one they had about it and I even included information about the lousy nonexistent service I did not, receive to fix my printer, since I see all of it as one and the same the printer and the services for the printer! They never posted my extremely negative review on their web site, which this teaches me a very valuable lesson, that is never get your review information from the source, as it could be false information, as this company has done with mine by not posting it! This company falls short of providing customer service and good products! I always try out a company with a small job before I will ever trust them with any large jobs. I will not be buying any other printers or any other devices from them for XEROX got an F (Failing Grade)! They will NOT be providing any of my 20 other business with Printers or any other devices they make! I am staying far away from this company, as they do not value the smaller businesses! After over 3 months without a working printer it is not worth the headaches and losses I have had to bear from the lack of support I have gotten from this company Xerox! I did notice after my negative review was never posted to their web site, I noticed short negative reviews have been posted since then! This 6605DN is only good for a big door stop, plane chuck or a small boat anchor if you fill it with cement and it is very expensive as it cost me over a grand!
