Is shopgate.com Safe?

I love working with this Company! they've bumped my mobile conversion rate up over 2% and I've seen a 4x R.O.I. this quarter since getting one of their Apps. *I'm gonna say all of that, DESPITE the fact that WOT is to RATE THE SECURITY of a site, NOT weather or not you like the company.

Unwanted telemarketing calls and company's sales people A. apparently don't think that US do not call list laws applies to them (news flash Shopgate: the do not call law does apply to you), and B. their sales people apparently aren't very bright since they're calling a non-business number, and c. their sales people's actions border on harassment since I just received a 45 second message from Shopgate that was entirely music (no speaking at all, what are they doing robo calling and placing the numbers on hold that they call once an answering machine picks up?).

Wir sind eine Agentur aus Düsseldorf und arbeiten schon seit 2 Jahren mit Shopgate erfolgreich zusammen. Die Integration von dem ersten Shop war zwar etwas holprig, aber es hat sich sehr gelohnt. Unser gemeinsamer Kunde konnte die Bestellungen deutlich steigern und ist zufrieden. Wir wünschen uns für die Zukunft mehr Marketing Features in den Apps und es wäre gut, wenn die iPhone-App und Android-App auf dem gleichen Stand wären.

I've never had issues regarding spam or annoying pop ups and ads from this site. It's easy to use and safe. Not sure about privacy as I have never left my personal data on the site, but I did call them to the toll free number provided to get more info on their services and the guy I spoke to was nice and helpful.
