A really good software, but they are missing out alot of information and i think there's a lot of programs, they don't show as bloatware or look-a-like where there's 2% who has uninstalled, but it could still be. I think they fall a little there. The idea is good enough.

another one of these software paranoia sites with bogus claims on innocent software

Passed by chance while browsing. this site blatantly gave incorrect information about Intel's Parallel Studio. This site is obviously runs by a bot, auto generated mumbling text and files mix. Do not relies upon this site. While mostly harmless and you just look stupid with pseudo knowledege based on this site, one time it can be dangerous.

Has links pretending to be one thing that do something totally different!

Safe website about whether or not to remove software.

VirusTotal today shows 1 source showing it as a suspicitous site. Looking in further: Sirt has not information Sucuri identifies that it is a site at medium risk due to inadequate firewall. Quttera found 1 file out of 100 sample to be suspicious and 9 links to blacklisted pages, some of which look dubious to me e.g ." ...torrent..." Votes in favour of it on virustotal are all anonymous - i.e. not real people or not regular users of virustotal - so I would ignore the positive votes

Great tool for determining if you should remove an installed program from your computer.

It sponsors undeniably bad software, including Trojan programs and it marks decent materials as suspicious. It does not cite where it obtains its data from. It does not explain how it goes about repairing or optimizing your PC, it advises the removal of critical programs. it seems decent enough, and it is well organized, but the deeper you go, the more suspicious it becomes.

Incorrect description of what the software does, how it does it, and incorrect software removal instructions. Visitor correction comments do not seem to get published.

I downloaded and installed FreeAllInOneMediaPlayerZenSetup from this site. It installed malware. Hijacked my search engines to Zen search. Some kind of "download assistant" that took over regular updates for things like Adobe, Freemake, and added a bunch of opt outs for crapware add ons. I spent a couple hours removing this Zensearch malware, with the help of a REAL tech support site. I attempted to leave a comment on the shouldiremoveit site, and it does not allow it to post.

Their software gives sometimes different ratings for programs compared with the website itself. Sometimes the text Review seems to generalize things, saying for example: "with over 98% of all installations currently using this version" for ALL most used versions! Also the lifetime of keeping programs for users using the Gauss graphic curve for normal spreading seems a bit suspicious, since this is a behavioural phenomena, not a nature related thing! Furthermore, some of their links doesn't work well, especially if you use tracking lists protection in your browser like IE.

I am really conflicted on this one. On one hand I like the presentation of information about software. I can't find anything comparable that gets that task done so well. On the other hand I have questions about privacy(it's rather hostile privacy policy certainly doesn't help) and it's site registration. For now I consider this one experimental.

Privacy Risk due to poor privacy policy. Suspicious due to not having open registration information plus some dubious analysis of software (although it is a useful site up to a point, to be fair). Potentially-unwanted Programs due to reports of their software being a bit dubious in function... Poor Customer Experience due to my recent attempting to make a comment, whitelisting it in all my script-blockers etc, and the comment box STILL doesn't work. Poorly-coded at the very least, there. I was trying to add (with my unpaid time of course) to their incomplete advice on a dangerous piece of software. If they don't want accurate, decent, honest free advice, to the point that the comments box is broken on a major browser, then what does that say about their seriousness and integrity?
