Is snipmp3.com Safe?

The site uses Java, which is a dangerous program to let run on your computer. Java is well known for bugs and viruses etc. Still, I used this site for a few years, but it constantly asks me to update java, even though I already have the newest version, and then sometimes it still refuses to work. As of recently, it just won't work. On top of that, the site contains no policies or help or anything else. The issue of whether it's legal or not is questionable too. While technically it is because of how youtube was intended to be and that many youtube videos do not contain copyright material, many music videos do exist on youtube. However, as long as the files are for personal use, you can't get in trouble with the law for using the site. Still, it's a blurry line. And, the threat of using java remains whether it's legal or not.
