The Bioware I knew 2 years ago is not the same Bioware it is now. BioWare used to be a great developer. I have been a long time supporter of their AAA titles, and have embraced many of their design changes for each game that they've released. However, the last three games that I've played from them (Dragon Age series, Mass Effect series, Star Wars series) have shown that EA (their main publisher/funder) has turned BioWare into an "EA cash cow". No longer is quality an important thing to work towards. It's about money money money. Mass Effect 3 actually has an in-game "pay to play" model if you want your upgrades faster, cash out $20.00 to get an upgrade pack. If you complain about anything that could make Bioware look bad on Bioware's forums now, you will have your posts removed, your account banned, and you will agree with me that Bioware is not the same that it once was.
