Is softlate.com Safe?

***** claims to have downloads for hundred of software products. All of the downloads are the same executable, which is malware. Softlate is violating the trademarks of hundreds of companies and buys Google ad words using these trademarks so that their links appear at the top of Google searches. They have created domain names for hundreds of other companies products, all of the form some-product.softlate.com or some.product.softlate.com. Try a Google search for softlate.com! When I did, the first sixty (60) pages of results were "someones. trademark.softlate.com". Do not download anything from this site. If you are a trademark holder, please go through the trademark complaint process at Google, Bing, etc.

Site distributing malware under the guise of legitimate programs (and under a fictional new version in my case). All downloads go to a 376KB file. Likely browser extension somebody gets paid per install for. Regardless, do not download from this site!

This site is loaded with misrepresentations including pretending to be an authorized distributor of others' works, misuse of trade names, and fake version numbers. Do not visit this site, download or install anything from it, or provide it with your confidential data.

Fake software downloads where a browser toolbar / BHO is installed.
