The data seems like it could be a bit sketchy, but overall it does offer a good service.

This is an excellent site for website research, and is aimed at businesses, not consumers. It is a trustworthy service, and provides data - there's nothing here to offend children.

I use this site for keyword intelligence and I also enjoy the blog.

I’ve used SpyFu quite a bit. It’s useful SEM tool. In no way would I consider it spam or a shady site.

I see no reason to distrust this site. It is easy to use and it does what it says - assist with competitive analysis which is a reality in the marketing world. Kudos SpyFu!

This is a great site that I use for all of my keyword tracking. It lines up with my other sites I use to track and Google searches so I know it is both accurate and user friendly. I have never had any problems with spam or malware using this site.

Useful results for webmarketers and SEO specialists. The name "spyfu" may have confused people with no real understanding of the website goal : webmarketing research for keywords...No phishing, no spam and certainly no harmful content for children...just a reliable professional tool !

I have used the Spyfu SEO research site since 2008. It is a wonderful online resource for SEO work. All the negative comments here were placed by competitors like SEMRush who are seeking to block competition. Spyfu has databases of keywords researched from many of the websites on the internet. The site has no malware and bad content. It is a clean site, and the Web of Trust people better get their ass in gear to prevent their WOT tool from being spoofed by spammers from Spyfu competitors. Competitor SEMRUSH is a russian organization, that's why you see Russian text in the negative contents. Human editors pay attention!!! Delete the negative comments.

It seems this domain was purchased by a different group and is an excellent resource.

This site provides competitive intelligence for SEO and online paid advertising professionals. I have been a subscriber for over two years, and have never experienced any issues.

Wow, I can't even begin to understand the logic of some of the ratings and comments on here. I was "flagged" by WOT when I went to spyfu.com from a new laptop I purchased (that) I hadn't already visited spyfu on yet, with WOT saying that it's a potentially dangerous site. For a second I thought I made a typo... but nope. Listen people, First, SpyFu is a paid subscription software - why on Earth would they want to lose a possible subscriber just so their website could deliver malicious software or content? Kind of counterproductive to their business model... Second, SpyFu is a SEM (Search Engine Marketing) TOOL, that allows you to see how you are performing in paid search against your competitors. Very sorry to tell you that Google let you down, not SpyFu. Google sold your information, not SpyFu. SpyFu does not request nor have any access to you paid search campaign information. At most it can sniff cookies of search terms that you searched recently, but so does almost every site trying to advertise. How else do you think those ads for the EXACT model of designer boots seem to show up on every page after you just got done looking at them or purchasing them an hour ago, magic? Spyfu is quite the opposite. It gives you the information that you've been giving to facebook, google, yahoo, myspace, tumblr, etc. for all these years. You should be thanking them.

I don't understand the negative comments. This site seems to do exactly what it says, well.

The site promotes and actively participates in the dissemination of malicious software. Website harmful and dangerous. Witryna promuje i czynnie uczestniczy w rozpowszechnianiu szkodliwego oprogramowania. Strona szkodliwa i niebezpieczna.

once again WOT shows that if you put the power with the uneducated and lacking of knowledge you get garbage results. this is a keyword/domain tracking professional site. there is nothing spammy, virus or anything harmful from this site. WOT is worse than yelp and its purchased comments.

Great SEO tool here.

A good case of people not really knowing what this site is, so they blacklist it. Recommended by CEH authors. I don't have definitive proof it is safe, but I have researched it and found no real problems. I trust the cert authors more than the blacklists. I trust it.
