Is thefreecountry.com Safe?

While doing some searches I stumbled onto this one. There is some good stuff there- but I also ran into some of the concerns expressed in other reviews. The first thing that struck me was on the first page I was seeing dos managers. My time is too valuable to waste with outdated information- unless I was specifically looking for that. Then there is the issue of shady links. Unless people know what they are doing this also may be a site to avoid. It is upsetting that the site owners aren't doing a better job of policing their own site.
