Is thrivemarket.com Safe?

What an awful company. I did a cancellation in 2016. They are still charging me now. Trying to get in touch with them is impossible. Phone call: "this call will get disconnected. we will send you a text." Their Web Chat link doesn't work. And email is slow, and keep offering you garbage to keep you. If I said No, That's it. Take that and stop. If someone has said stop, and has not paid in 2 years (they took from my account one year and I didn't know...) and is not active on the site, And they still keep acting on stuff... I think that's a sign that this place is dangerous. I wish I knew this before hand. :'( They also took out more than they said they would...

This one earns a full red for it's bogus health claims. In today's age it is possible to throw out all kinds of claims about GMOs, gluten, sea-salt, honey... which are about as scientific as a horoscope. Many people think that they are doing the right thing- and end up being taken for a real ride. EDIT: I gave it a dark red- and apparently WOT is still broken.

Thrive Market signs you up for a free trial when you buy something. This trial automatically rolls into a yearly membership after 30 days. You cannot cancel the free trial online. You have to talk to a customer service representative to cancel the trial, and they are notorious for making that very difficult. Then they bill you anyway. You may be charged for a subscription to their service. There is no way to cancel online, only by email. They send multiple email pleas to continue the subscription that has not yet been cancelled. Very easy to ignore these as spam and not get cancelled as requested.
