This 18-year-old site is a well-organized trove of useful tech information with a forum and independent hardware and software tests with comparative analyses. Expect a few trackers, but nothing dangerous. Like all download sites, don't blindly trust the software; always scan it with a strong major-brand anti-malware product before you install or run it.

i used tomsguide.com when i was having trouble with my computer they have articles about the right software and how to install it correctly they also have information about technology products, game reviews and a lot of tech info to help you stay safe

I downloaded Kii keyboard app from Tom's Guide site today, Since then my SD card is dead. Will not function in anything I plug it into. Shows up as 0 GB. That's 32 gigs of files gone.... Not to mention if something else came through that is screwing up my system as I type this. If I can't trust a site, it is history

Looked online for "best mac malwae/virus protection" - This page advertises "Avira" at the top site rating 9/10. It said FREE on the bar to download, in the decription of the product is has FREE three times, absoulutely no mention of purchase needed. When you click on link of "FREE>Avira" it forwards you to the page that tells you this is $57. It does offer a free one month trial version. Very misleading and a waste of my time. Bait and switch technique.

I do want to disparage I'm just in a bit of a time crunch so I couldn't give a blind emphatic A+ or anything without further perusal but based on what others had to say I believe I'm off to a potentially fruitful start. On that note if nothing egregious happens perhaps I promise to review the app more comprehensively.
