I've had this silly unwanted toolbar on chrome and firefox which was added without permission, the only thing that could remove it was my Avast! Free Antivirus' Browser Cleanup function which removed it in 30 seconds. 2 years of hassle removed in 30 seconds. Do not use the search or toolbar or even anything to do with ask, it'll allways be a P.U.P or Bloatware.
