A good site for a mass franchise/chain of stores that sell used items in the gaming market

***** is the official domain for CEX. CEX is a exchange like shop where you can sell your items (mainly phones and DVD/CD's). They may not give the best price as they need to make a profit from items they then sell on once they have bought from you. I've bought items from here on multiple occasions and only once have I needed to return a product and had no problems doing so.

Further, they try to lie to you that data storage (memory cards) are CONSUMABLES. No, 'consumables' by ANYONE ELSE'S definition, are things like printer ink, toner, blank DVDs etc. Anyone who has to lie in the course of their daily business is a criminal, whether the law explicitly states so or not. What's the law on 'obtaining money by deception' in your jurisdiction, then?

Worthless company who treat the customer as the enemy. This is basically because they inherently exploit most of their customers who just want a quick fix cash or exchange for their used items. When buying, you pay often near the new price - and their 'twelve month warranty' is too much hassle (on purpose, but depending on which 'store' you use the service can be better or worse but inherently about exploitation and they don't even hide it properly like more intelligent business models). They seem proud that they breach statutory law on consumer transactions (and they DO this, don't lie about it, CeX, it changes NOTHING). They almost seem proud about it. As if it's clever or contributes to humanity in the long run. What goes around comes around - except if you're in the tiny-brained CeX bubble-reality, fed by too much time on computer games... pathetic.

My Advice, DO NOT BUY online from this supplier. My item was not as described and trying to get a refund is cumbersome and difficult. There are no telephone numbers for customers to call to resolve issues and all communication has to be done by email. They also take days to respond to mails if at all ! I have made 2 purchases from them and had to request a refund both times because of an incomplete description on their site. I AM NOT IMPRESSED.

Made an order of 3 items. Three days later I received an email telling me my order had been cancelled because the items were out of stock (they were in stock on the website). I sent an email back asking when would the items be in stock and when I could order them again. After a few days I received another email saying that I could order these items again if they were in stock on the website. I looked at the website and all the items I ordered were still shown as IN STOCK as they were a week ago. I didn't reorder because CeX had not updated their website to say that the items were not in stock and obviously would have cancelled my order for a second time if I had tried.

Have ordered a dvd from this site, they do not send an invoice or any other notifiction of dispatch but you do get the items you order.

They list phone numbers to contact them and then every option in the menu loops back to the menu, with no-one answering. Email only, takes a long time to answer, also no way of contacting the physical stores directly, meaning a wasted journey if they claim to have stock and then don't actually have it (a common occurrence). In the information age, for a computer/electronics shop, this is crap.
