I have a ***** account, and have used it for many years, no complaints. I like the format, the ease of use, and the way they deal with spam. I rarely use the calendar, but when I do, it never fails. Hey, you can't beat free!

I use and am grateful for Yahoo's free e-mail service, but the cost in privacy is very high, especially under its new (2013) terms of service. I know that Yahoo mines my contact list, e-mails, and attachments for its own purposes -- that is, profits.

When I logged into my account all of my e-mail was gone and I reacted by getting a different email account and rated yahoo poorly for dumping my stuff without telling me.
It seems I was in error - Yahoo was logging me into a seldom used second account, and since there was nothing there I thought all my files were gone.
However - Yahoo is going to delete all files in the very near future, so back up now
