USAA has all the latest requirements for online banking as well as proprietary NX firewalls, nats, port bouncing and forwarding, offline redundancy, offline data backup servers for quick recovery, all user data is backed up onto servers that have no wan path. Anything can be hacked but this would be a tough one to crack and if so, it would be nearly transparent to users. This type of network is exclusive to USAA, most banks have dedicated security IT staff keeping your data safe.

DO NOT buy ANYTHING but Auto insurance thru USAA or YOU WILL REGRET IT!! uPdate: Look at all of the stupid wankers that commented before me. They are all so stupid and naive. Congrats on your stupidity and naivety. Try breaking one small item (worth even $1 over your deductible) file a claim on it and see how they will spend $1,000+ to keep from paying you the $1 on it.

USAA is an excellent company for banking and insurance. My experience with them bears out their good reputation. Whenever you modify your profile, they send you a confirmation e-mail. The e-mail contains a "Security Zone" with your name and last four digits of your account as proof against spoofing. Although the Web site contains nothing offensive to children, it is not intended for them.

I highly recommend USAA in their banking, their auto insurance, etc. I had an automobile accident and I also had to use them for towing. When I called on the phone and gave them the information from the wrecker bill, the person taking care of it asked me which account to put the reimbursement in. Before I got home, it was there. Absolutely the best without any doubt. I love the easy of doing online banking with them and I know that it is secure.
