Phishing scam. This website is pretending to be something else in order to get sensitive information about you and potentially steal money. Steer clear.

Illegal. This flashdrive kills 95% of all computers or anything that has a USB port when it is plugged in. Contains several thousand volts of electricity and can shock someone.

It provides, yes, the USB Killer. Yes, it can damage computers. However, they explicitly state it should only be used for testing *with consent*. The people rating it say it's "potentially illegal"... it isn't illegal to sell or own this device. It's illegal for one to use it on a device they had no permission to use it on. As for "hiding behind Cloudflare and WHOISGuard"...? Of course they do. Unless it's some huge corporation, a lot of sites choose to hide the creator. Nobody wants to just list a home address or some small office. I don't see people here flagging sites selling guns, though guns can be used to kill people. This is no different. The product is only able to be used illegally - it isn't, on its own, illegal.

This is a product for penetration testers and could be illegal if used without prior permission.

The website is fine and trustworthy. These people don't understand the purpose of WOT. It is NOT for reviewing products. Your opinion of the product is irrelevant. Yes, it has the potential for misuse, but the website and company selling the usb device are legitimate. PLEASE don't ruin WOT with misinformation about the safety/security of webpages. Write a letter to the company if you want to complain about the product. This is not the right forum. There is nothing malicious about a surge protection testing device, you will not receive malware from this site, it is not a scam, there is no pornographic content or hate/discrimination here.

Official merchant of the 'USB Killer', a USB stick that sends massive amount of power through a computer to possible shut it down. People know what they are buying when they browse this site. It is a tool used be professionals to test ESD protection in a computer. These items do not have malicious intents: all red reviews here are misleading.  Know that you are purchasing a ESD testing USB when you purchase something from this site. It is entirely safe, legitimate, and legal.

They now sell an "Anonymous" version which is designed to look like an ordinary flash drive. Such an unbranded device has absolutely no legitimate use as is. Site hides behind hidden WHOIS and Cloudflare.
3
Their product only has one use which is to cause damage to computer hardware. You cannot compare this to using a knife as knives have legitimate uses, whereas this usb does not.

Does what it is supposed to do, delivers as it should. The people who left negative reviews are just those who are reviewing the product itself, complaining about the sole purpose it was created for; destroying USB ports.

Allot of people are on here bashing this site because the item it sells, in question, is meant to seriously kill a computer. While I don't approve of such things, I'd like to remind people that you don't rate a website based on the items it offers, if you do that, you're doing it all wrong. The site itself seems to be virus free, but I wouldn't know if it's a scam as I will NEVER, EVER buy or support such products. So, yeah. (From what I've seen) Good site, questionable product.

I am computer technician. This looks very dangerous item to me. It almost surely destroys your computer. They also sell a device which protects from this kind of attacks. That's probably only surge protector.

This site DOES deliver what you order, it charges the amount that has been agreed upon, it is PERFECTLY HONEST. Period. Therefore you cannot charge it with being malicious or whatsoever. Just because knives happen to be used to kill people does it allow you to downrate cutelries ? Certainly not !

Okay, this site sells a USB "Kill Stick" that basically charges up to 200 volts from whatever device it is plugged into and then it sends the extremely high voltage; much higher than the voltage in your home outlet, back into the USB port, obviously frying the machine you plugged it into in a matter of seconds. Slightly destructive if you ask me, I wouldn't even think about buying one.

"Gruesome or shocking" - well, I've never seen an opportunity to use that one before. "Shocking" may be apt, given what it is they're selling - a special USB device with a high-voltage capacitor that sends 200 volts down your device's data lines. The device may sizzle, go bang, or just melt, poor thing. ***** Oh, they also sell a defence against their own doomsday stick. So that's all right then.
