It isn't as good as when I last visited it- and it has too many trackers attempting to run in the background. I no longer would go there without a darn good reason. Light green at best.

VH1 (stylized as VI+1 and originally an initialism of Video Hits One) is an American cable television network based in New York City. It launched on January 1, 1985, in the old space of Turner Broadcasting's short-lived Cable Music Channel. The original purpose of the channel was to build on the success of MTV by playing music videos, but targeting a slightly older demographic than its sister channel, focusing on the lighter, softer side of popular music.

I love VH1. You can listen to music, order things. You can also watch old episodes of some of their best shows. I do that a lot!

would like to correct a mistake that a lot of sources are making on the names of the original keyboard player and the original guitar player. I, John R. West, was the keyboard player - cordovox, to be exact - and Dave Walker was the guitar player. Even the book - "The Movers and The Shakers" - from way back - has it wrong. Dave Walker was an excellent rhythum guitar player and singer who was the original singer for the group at the Disneyland gig during the sumers of '63 & '64. Gary played drums and didn't sing at that time. Dave Walker rehearsed all of us on the '50's r-n-r stuff like Johnny Be Goode - etc. - which got us the job at Disney. After the Disney gig he went back to collage somewhere in the East - don't remember the college - and missed out on being on our first hit - This Diamond Ring. After we had the hit, Gary called him back into the group to do some touring with Dick Clark's - Where the Action Is tours - I hope the next time I wiew your web site I'll see the correction - PLEASE!!!!!! John R. West
