I encountered the vidora.com tracker on fastcompany.com. Vidora appears to be an analytics company that helps site owners track user activity on their sites. Their privacy policy (http://www.vidora.com/privacy-policy/) explain in detail, but clearly how they deal with data. They claim to collect no personally identifiable information: "Vidora’s Service is not designed to collect Information that could be used to personally identify you, such as your name, address or phone number (“Personally Identifiable Information“) when you visit a website that uses the Vidora Service. However, please be aware that Vidora may allow its clients to provide it with customized data that may, depending on the choices of the client, contain Personally Identifiable Information." Vidora does not track users across sites and "never sells or shares any User Information with individuals or companies other than the specific client on whose website Vidora collected the User Information." Vidora does not respond to Do Not Track requests send by the browser. It uses cookies "to help identify users; assess usage patterns and perform traffic analysis; identify preferences; diagnose problems with our servers; analyze trends; and otherwise administer Vidora’s Service". All in all I find Vidora to be trust-able and I will not block its scripts.
